1984 RamCharger parts swap to a 67 D100

Hi all! I happened into a free 1984 Dodge Ram Charger from a family member and will be pulling the 318 to put into my 1967 Dodge D100. I already have a lead on the parts for the flywheel and other necessary parts to complete the swap. My main question is, what other parts can I pull from the ram charger and bolt up to my 67 D100? I thought I read on another post on here that the rear axle from the ram charger would bolt up without modification. Does anyone know if the front axle would swap in and if there are any other parts I could use?

I will most likely scrap or part out whatever is left of the Ram Charger so I would like to utilize as much as I can from it before doing that. Thanks ahead of time!

If the 318 had an auto trans, u will have to deal with the crank that is likely not bored for a pilot bushing.

That is a good point. The ramcharger is an auto transmission. How diffict is that to deal with? Wonder if I should take the trans from the ramcharger and put it in my truck as well

Have you considered a frame swap?

I apologize I just realized I type 1985 ramcharger and it is a 1984. I considered it but I wasn’t sure about dealing with the difference in the wheelbase, cab mounts, etc. I also do not have access to a tig welder and was unsure if my cheap harbor freight welder would be good enough for that job.

Does anyone know if the frames are roughly the same length or not? I would love to keep my 3 on the tree setup or a 4 speed floor shifter as I love manual transmissions but I am not sure if its going to be a bear to do or not since the ram charger 318 is currently attached to an auto trans?

From my understanding I should only need the correct engine mounts, flywheel, pressure plate and 11” clutch.

If this came to you for free.... pull the engine and make sure it does or doesn't have
a crank drilled for the tranny input shaft. If it does not, there might be an option of using a crank
flange bearing and shortening your tranny input shaft. I'm sure others that have done
this can chime in here and give you more detail.

Is the Ramcharger 4wd? The wheelbase is 106" and your truck is either 114 or 128".
