Hi I'm looking to relocate my fuel tank out of the cab. 1963 d100 slant 6
Being in Australia all the options that I've read about wont work for me due to none of those vehicles being here.
Should I look for a tank from a Carby or efi vehicle. A Carby tank I would imagine be easier.
Is there a difference between petrol and deisel tanks.
Any help on where to start looking would be great.
Cheers

Re: Fuel tank relocation.
60's Ford Mustang tank fits between the frame rails in the spare tire area. Type in "fuel tank" in the search area.
Re: Fuel tank relocation.
you can get reproduction old mustang tanks from places like Summit Racing..
maybe they would ship to you in Australia ??
might cost you though...

Hi I hadn't seen the posts about mustang tanks. Didn't search far enough. They look to be the best idea and price looks good ok for Australia. There seems to be quite a few in Australia for sale.
Cheers
