AS compresor. removal

Post by rjschaff »

I have decided I'll not repair/replace the inop factory AC in my 71 D300. So I am cleaning up under the hood and removing all the AC components. I am down to the big compressor, but don't know what pulleys , brackets etc I need when i take the comp. off. I'll need something to handle the two belts. If anyone has a good photo or has the actual parts (can I be this lucky?), I am interested. Thanks rj

Yup Engines size is important --forgot to list it. Anyway , it is a 383 AND NO power steering

Can anyone post a photo of the front of a 383 without AC and power steering. Still want to take the AC compressor off my 383 powered D300 , but don't know what brackets, etc I'd need to re-route the fan belts, etc. Thanks RJ
