Hey everyone, I just bought a Fargo tailgate off eBay for $329 I'm really not sure what it is worth but I needed it for my build. What do you guys think, did I overpay?

If you did, don't worry about it. You needed it, they are scarce.

Yeah I’ve never seen one for sale in the past few years looking on and off so I️ kinda made a impulse buy. I’m feeling better about my purchase as time passes though.

It ended up only being $58 to ship so it was $380 shipped from California. I️ was really surprised about the low shipping cost being in Western New York.

I don't think you over payed due to rarity even in Canada where they were sold. I have late 65 to 69 one for sale in Western Canada.

Mines not a Fargo ( which is probably harder to find) and I paid $350.00 plus shipping from West to East Coast. My total cost was more like $425.00.

Was waiting for some wiseassery on my F comment. Time to listen to Woodstock album.

Rusted out, how is the back of it and is it bowed? I wouldn't have paid that much. I've offered just the Fargo middle section (cut the spot welds) with no interest so I don't bother even looking for them anymore.

I have sold 2 FARGO gates just for the embossed portion.

I'll buy the 'F' Kim, if its not already taken, It would be great if it was used on real FARGO.
