Steering Wheel Blinker Cam Direction?

Post by greggeo »

Hello Everyone.
I have a 1971 D100 . Is there a Best position for the Steering wheel Cam? Mine is a Ring that Slips onto the Wheel press on spring Style.
Should the Tripper be away from the turn signal mechanism side of the Wheel or between the turn signal Cam plastic Tripper arms?
Thanks, Greg

My suggestion would be to place it exactly opposite of the lever. This way when you turn the wheel slightly you wont have problems actuating the switch. Its a bummer to have to sit and hold the lever because its in the cancel position already.

So what's wrong with setting beneath a single pull string incandescent light bulb writing angry letters?
