Sweptline Cab On "First Gen" Frame

Post by ShopTruck »

Hello all, I have done some searching and I have read a few threads on here and cumminsforum about putting a sweptline body on a later cab. Has anyone here done it? It doesn't seem like its a popular project. I want a sweptline wrecker so my plan is buy an 80's wrecker and put a sweptline cab and front clip on the 80's chassis. Any input or guidance would be appreciated.

Yeah but that's the thread about doing the front IFS swap. I am talking about a whole first gen frame swap. I have read a few threads about doing it to a cummins frame so clearly It can be done I just need to get my butt in gear and do it!
