I know the play is irritating but I think its a common problem. I use a smaller diameter steering wheel to combat that same issue. I have read several threads regarding that same issue but have not seen anyone solve it.

So what's wrong with setting beneath a single pull string incandescent light bulb writing angry letters?

I think there will always be approximately 5 to 6mm of play on that end because that's roughly how far the valve has to travel from the right to the left turn position. That's a lot on a 17" diameter steering wheel.

Ok.
I try it these days.
Look for the middle position, connect the hoses and bleed it.
If it will not work i will buy a drag link and drive it without assist.

Hello again.

Two friends of mine, two hydraulic guys, spent dome time with me on my truck.
Dissambled the valve again, check the pump,..........Checked the hoses, all in the right order,.....

Started the engine, and the steering wheel turns to the left and then to the right,......

One of my friends said "change the ram hoses". Changed the hoses and all was OK!!!
Its ok with another order as the manual says and all the guys said here that helped me???

The ram was remanufactured. They had opend it,changed the rod and welded on a new cap.I dont know if it is possible that they have turned/changed something inside the ram.

THANKS FOR HELPING ME !

Rene

Glad you fixed it but like I said back on March 31 "cylinder lines are reversed"!
