Steering Components
Hello, My name is Ryan. I own and operate Blue-Top Steering Gears, Inc. in Stanton, ND. I am here looking for information regarding the steering control valves and assist cylinders that were offered on the Dodge trucks. I recently bought a core and remanufactured the outfit and I'm curious if there was only one style of valve or if Bendix made a couple different models. Also curious if anyone has a cylinder photo or dimensions of one. I realize these are somewhat rare because I have no info on these or any application info in my Edelmann catalogs. Thanks!

Re: Steering Components
From 1963-68 there were 8 different part numbers for PS cylinders. Some of these are for larger trucks, not pickups or vans. I'm sure 61-62 and 69-71 had more part numbers that don't match any of these.

Wow! Great info! Thanks very much for that and for those parts diagrams! This is whole new venture for me with the Dodge power assist setups so I'm gathering all the knowledge I can! Thanks again.
