Need a hitch

Post by hobo »

I'd like to outfit my D100 for light hauling. Slant 6, 3 speed manual (A745), rear axle capacity 3600.

What kind of hitch should I get, and can anyone recommend a place in the bay area that can install it? The U-Haul near me is a dump, so I'm trying to avoid them.

Class 3 equalizer hitch from 72 to 93 trucks will match up to frame and may only need some holes drilled. I had a factory frame hitch on my 66 W100 that came off a 79 D200.
My truck is younger than me.

Its also possible a 94 to 2001 Ram Pickup may work. They should be plentiful and easy to find. :thinking :thinking

I put a hitch on my 68, but never used it so far... :pale SOME drilling IS required, but it fit nicely! Let me know your email addy, and I can send you some other pics of it being installed if you want.
