duall wheel vs single wheel

Post by billsdodges »

I have a 69 D300 with dual wheels, I want to put white spoke rims on front and rear but the way it looks, the wheels will not track in line like a W series would. what do I need to do to make this work. I am also putting a 9' stepside bed on this truck therefore wanting to go to the single wheels

I think your options are (A) custom wheels that have different offset between front/rear so the track will be nearly the same. (B) Finding axles from SRW truck. Finding a D200 donor truck may be of help.

Do you already have a 9' Utiline bed located?

Is this the style you have/want?
