Will a Sweptline fit on a Dakota chassis like the 50s rigs?

Post by LAWFISH »

Just curious if anyone has done this. I picked up a 92 Dakota with a nice running 318 Magnum extra cab truck a while back for a rod project of some sort. And probably will use it on an older rig but thought I would ask. The excb dakota is 132 inch wheel base.

As far as I know the early model Dakotas are a little to narrow. I'm sure it could be made to work with some offset wheels or wheel spacers. I have a 96 Dakota clip under my 48 Dodge panel and it's the perfect width.
