Trying a c notched strait front axle on a 65 d100
Ok people I'm a master fabricator and am about to venture into something I haven't heard anyone try yet.im going to c notch my front axle on my 65 d 100 to get a total of 6 in of drop.this will allow my oil pan to clear I also going to notch my frame to put my axle over the springs would love to hear some feedback positive or negative thanks hope to be reading some replies soon

To be clear.... you're c-notching the axle itself.... correct?
I'm not a master fabricator.... so how would one be able to
reinforce the axle enough to where it wouldn't bend under
the weight of the truck?

You are going to have some crazy steering linkage issues...
