Hello all. I am a new member having just purchased a 1964 D200 Long Bed/Step Side. Can anyone tell me if the bed is a factory bed ? It appears to be. The truck was a US Forest Service truck in California.

Welcome to the site. :welcome :usa Your truck bed looks to be a 9' [?]
style [center stake pocket] with some dually flat fenders. Perhaps
someone took it off a D300 at some point in time? Looks like a nice
rig! You can get some single rear wheel Utiline fenders for a more
"factory" look.... :idea :2cents

John,

Thanks for replying. I think it's an 8 foot bed but not sure. I'll measure tonight. Can this axle be set up to accept dual rear tires ?

It actually looks more like a 2nd or 3rd series Power Wagon Bed. If that is the case and its in decent, you could easily sell it and obtain the correct step side or fleet side bed ( I actually have a fleet side bed if you are interested). As for the DRW setup on a the Dana 60, some else should chime in, but I'd say no off the top of my head.

Adam,

Very Interesting. The bed is in good shape. It needs the wood replaced in the floor and has a few holes drilled in it where it appears there may have been a spare tire mounted in front of the left fender. I would be very interested in trading it for a fleet side bed that's in good shape. I see you're in LA. I'm in San luis Obispo. Call me at 805-556-5843 and we can talk.

U will need a bed from 61-65.5. Later beds from 65.5-71 are a different length due to the different wheelbase.
I have the correct one in Walnut Creek if Adam doesn't.

I'm interested in trading for a fleetside bed for sure. I'm coming up to Sacramento on 4/29 and could bring it then and pick up the fleetside.

Tailgate was trash and is gone and no taillights, otherwise sheetmetal is about perfect.
Look at Adam's and take your pick.
