What is the best way for me to service my Garrison steering control valve on my 1970 W200, 383 4 speed, 4X4 Power Wagon?

It's my everyday driver that's not safe to drive. The Garrison stamped numbers are 1600-4-40. Any leads to the best fix or upgrade for this would be much appreciated. Thank you.

What are the symtoms? :thinking
I sold all of my sweptline trucks,except the invisible one. I just couldn't stand to see it go!
