Not sure where the topic I just submitted went but I'll try again.
When I got my truck the gas tank wasn't connected. I just used 2 inch fuel line to hook up the filler. Now I see a listing for a collar that goes from the filler neck to the tank neck. Was this how the factory did it? Don't know that I'll change it, just curious. Thanks.

Think that depends on year of truck and tank style.
