69 adventurer power steering

Post by fireguyfire »

I posted a while ago about my manual steering box which has alot of slop in it and will need rebuilding. Since Im going to have to spend money anyway, I was contemplating converting it to power steering.
Has anybody converted to power steering? Can you buy a conversion or do you have to steal it off a compatible vehicle?
Looking for input before I make this decision.

If you decide to go with a stock set up I have a complete system still on axle from a 70 D100 that was just removed from a running driving truck last year. Hoses have been upgraded too. The owner is doing a Aspen/Diplomat conversion.Located in Chilliwack. B.C.
My truck is younger than me.

I have a d200 I'm looking to convert to power steering. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
