question on windshields and also pics

Post by DB69 »

I recently saw a sweptline with an 8 foot box for sale in Lawrence Michigan(about75 miles from here) and it has 4 headlights(not sure what year it is) and is painted the same color as my 69 was originally-turquoise and was wondering if windshields were changed from different years(mine's cracked) also was wondering how to put pics on the site and send some pics to put on the ride section on the home page? I am not as good at doing stuff on the computer as most of you are-have been using it for only 2 1/2 years and all I know(not much!) is self-taught. I just took 4 pics to use up a camera the wife wanted developed and these are the first ones of my 69 D100 that was formerly a Civil Defense truck. As always thanks for your help and advice! :salut

Windsheilds are all the same 61 to 71 and still made new.

All full size beds will be 8'6" on Dodges. Some utiline beds (stepside) will even be over 9'.

to post pics you must first put them on a site like http://www.81x.com that allows remote hosting. after your images are all loaded up to whatever site you choose, right click on ther pic and choose properties. right click on the url code of the pic and click select all, then right click again and select copy. now, come to here, make your post and click on the img box at the top right of the posting box, paste the copied url after it, and click the img again, whala your done. :Thumbsup

Full size 128" wheelbase boxes are 8'6". The older
[early '65 back to '61] 122" wheelbase boxes were
a bit shorter. If you need the length, I'll tape my
'61 D200 for you. I'm not sure about the earlier Crew
Cab long box lengths.... Trey can help there.
