Post by doubleover »

I'm looking for a nice set of 16.5 tires. Can anyone recommend a type/manufacturer of a tire. I'm almost finished with my 4 year project and im trying to keep it as stock looking as possible. Its a 1970 W200 utiline. I've been looking at the denmans does anyone have any other ideas? Thank you Jim

I used to work in tires. Bridgestone Revo's with Uni-t are by far the best, but you pay for it, too. I would say your okay with anything namebrand but goodyears. JMHO

Thank you, I think I want to try to stay with bias ply. The rim width is 6.75 and I would like to be at 31" to 32" overall diameter. The denmans are bias ply street tires and Im kind of leaning that way.Im not going to be driving offroad with the truck. Thank you Jim
