The rate is the cheap one,
just need to know if he can haul all 3
or if it will be just 2
may have to drag one to the scale to find out
if no one knows
even the weight of a long box 1/2 ton would be close enough

:thinking Seems to me that when I ran my 68 W200 over the scales it was a 'tad over' 6k. That was with no gas, spare, tools, me, dog, etc. Might have been 6400lbs.

my 66 went across the scales at the local waste yard at 4250 with the trailer you built in tow. figure the trailer is about 600 pounds, and robins quote is pretty close. never been thru the scales empty with no trailer. but the crew went across empty, no trailer, at 4628. (the blue one) :Thumbsup

My Mowag W200 (a late '63 Dodge W200 with a custom body - pls look at the members ride section w- series and 1964) is 6330 lbs. On both axles the weight is about 50 %. The weight is with me, a spare wheel, and a normal tool set. The weight of a wheel (split rim with 8.25 - 16) is 140 lbs. And there is a Braden winch on the front bumber.

There is 3 of them to move about 1400 miles,
so towing is too much in time and distance.

Have towed one from California to here about 925 miles one way
and one from Texas, near Dallas to here,.

but yes towing works and I have built a good tow bar for it
for got the one towed from Neveda about 400 miles one way

made me think of the old Beach Boys song
I get around, but now I'm old and round

Trey,
These 3 are in Oregon, and Washington.
No more in Texas, and not for a long time, unless it's El Paso,
that's the same distance as Phoenix.

Will still have 1 in N Idaho and 2 in NE Washington, then
I think I'll have all mine in the same general area

Guess it depends on the scale, lol. Same blue truck that Trey mentioned went through at 4880. And no, I wasn't sitting in it. :Thumbsup
