gauges

i was wondering, which gauges are electic and which are mechanical? i want to up grade some of them, but i want to make sure i buy the right ones... thanks!

on your 70, id be willing to bet everything except speedo is electric. some trucks had mechanical oil pressure, but it was an option. look at the back of your block, see if you got a tube, or a wire coming from the oil pressure sender. if its a tube, then its a mechanical gauge.
