Thanks John, what's the difference, Spicer rear end vs. Dana? Also I have some rotten 8.75x16.5 tires with 4 nice hub caps (wheels not bad). Looking at 235/85x16 tires and wheels, but would like caps to fit for dress up nights, any ideas?. Here's a link I found for tire comparison.

It looks as if you have a D-200 "Camper Special" type of
Truck.

I see the dbl belted pulley's and etc under the hood. Is
the Dual Btry's and Seven Paddle Cooling Fan with the
Fan Shroud also there ?

Also under the hood you have the extra paid for
Oil Bath Air cleaner with the Clean Air Package.

The large size Dual Mirrows are also part of the
option when one had the "Camper Special".

Your Rear Window was a 1966 "pay for" Factory
Option.

The full lenght Side Trim was also another
Factory Option.

The extra fuel tanks and the rear bumper ( with
supports ) were a 1966 Dealer Installed item.
= = = = = = = = = = = = = =
I see that you are already thinking of removing
the 16.5 Wheels since they are being phased
out. At the pick & pull Eight Lug 16 Inch
Wheels are on many Dodge Trucks and Vans.

The newer wheel also have a wider rim width.

Same thing. Dana-Spicer is the name of the company.

Were is she. When I saw this truck I knew I wanted it. Just how to get it behind the shop before wife (just doesn't have the same affection for old trucks)sees it. Seller had a trailer and said he would deliver. Saturday afternoon nobody home but me, scheduled the delivery with seller. Everything went as planned. After seller leaves, I'm checking everything out, hoods up, spider webs everywere, then I see her. She didn't look to happy. I stopped cleaning and was sure not to let her touch me. I ran to get a stick, when I got back she was gone. Be careful with old trucks, I think she may show up some day when I'm working on the truck and bite me. Here's a picture of what to look for.

is 66 the first year of the camper specials cause i swear i have one and mine is a 65? Black Widows normally move on after you disturb their nest. they also dont really like bright places so make sure you put a few halogen floor lamps in the dark areas after a few days they will move on.

I think Dodge started putting the Camper Special badge on specially equiped trucks in late 65 when they switched to the 128,160 inch wheelbase.
There were earlier camper eguipt trucks, just no special badge.

Under the hood on my old '67 318 Camper Special, it was identical. Here it is, when I got it home on the trailer. It's now a part of a least a dozen other Swepties here, and the bed lives on as a trailer.

Patrick did. I have some items from this D200. I think Patrick kept the
box and frame & made a nice trailer from them. :Thumbsup

I'm not sure whether one should say "affection" or affliction.
Welcome to the site. :welcome :usa . Nice looking Camper Special.
You should look for some 16" wheels. The LT235/85/16 tire is easily
found. Also, some places still sell the old bias ply 7.50x16s.

Greeting Hobcobble, Thanks for your reply, affliction (as in pain) is a fair description in this case. My olde Dodge has been asleep since 1997, it was one old man's pride and joy. I like the oil plug in the front, easy change. Sure seems like a great group here and with many willing to help out, I am most appreciative :salut . After sitting for 13 years and no fluid in brake or clutch reservoirs, what are the chances by adding fluid both will work?
Damage so far.
truck 4 bills, CA regs could be another 4
Battery Pick n Pull $25.00
Tire P & P $17.00
Fuel pump Napa $25.00
Coolant, oil, filters (oil & gas) $50.00
Gas hose $7.00
Carb kit Napa $22.00 (Carter)
Work me one 6 pack
Daughter's VW a tune up at the mechanic $425.00
It's amazing how cheap the parts are for these old trucks and I can do the work!
Used 1967 dodge service manual $13.00 Ebay
Goal - looks good runs good for under 1500
Regards
Randy
PS found Mrs 8 eyes, used compressed air to blow out compartment, found her under battery isolator the next day, dead.
