Headers for bb and front shock

Does any offer headers that would fit my 68 D-200,383 auto? Would B-body headers work? Also, where can I find front shocks for my D-100 and 200? I got listings for rears, none for fronts. I sold auto parts for several years and never came across a listing.

when i bought my fronts i had to take a measurement eye to eye and just match them with whats out. wish i could remember what they crossed with, could really save you some time. but i do remember it was a rear shock from a different truck. im thinking ford, but its been 2 years, so im unsure.

Red, jeg's list dyno headers for the 67-82 4wd 383-400at $139.99 pt# 289-85032, I have a set of headman from a 73 duster on my 69 318 D100 Robin just got shocks for his swept last year , rancho I do belive hope this helps

The kids at Advance Auto was able to look up what shock size fit my truck, I ended up buying Ranchero 5000's and it was the best thing I could have done, I would not have believed a shock could have made that much difference in the suspension, I bought headers for my 440 back in 1990 and 440's never came as a stock motor option, I would suspect the B body headers would work also.

I wish I would have thought of that, My old boss from ISW (Big A) manages an Advance Auto Parts not far from here. I gave up back then when I couldnt find any listings for fronts in Monroe, Gabrial, or KYB.

I found a listing in moroe finaly. sensa-trac 37189, fits both 1/2 and 3/4 ton

Thats for the fronts, Ive never had a problem finding rear shocks, but ill get the # and get back to you.

We were lucky at ISW, we delt strictly wholesale, so most of the time we delt with people that knew what they were doing, MOST of the time anyway! All three of us counter guys were ASE certified and pretty good at scrounging. Im suprised I never came up with that # before, Monroe sensatrac was our top brand!
