Hmmm.... those look to be the front running and
directional lenses for a '61 or '62. I think they
went to amber in '63?. Anyway, I think they are
too large to replace the standard reverse light
lenses on the Sweptlines.

(assuming the diameter is correct)those are the lenses that I have on the back of my '65. Clear for backup. In fact, I could use an extra lense if anyone has one.

Reverse lamp lenses are 3" in diameter and do not
have a colored or pronounced outer rim. What I see
in that pic looks to be the turn signal/running
lamp lense or, as Bill pointed out, a Jeep CJ lense,
as I believe they interchange. I have that exact
lense on the front of my '61 D200.

The lenses are the front turn signal lenses from a '61 or '62 truck. About 4 5/16 from scew to scew. However They are also on the back of my '63 pick-up as reverse lights. I have a pic of the from the orginal owners in '64 or '65 that clearly depects the large round lenses installed then. When I removed the lenses they were stamped with the chrysler parts logo. I've seen several other trucks that have thos same style lights in the back. Perhaps it was somthing done at the dealer. I'm curious as well.

Those are front signal lenses, no dought about it.
>Tony, no those lenses will not fit the later
buckets for the backup lights, just to big.

Dodge did not ever use the painted outside edge
and if you have that type they were ether painted
or replaced> FACT. However, they did come on the
CJ Jeeps from the factory with the painted edge.

It would have be easy for the dealer or someone (including the factory) to
add them to the tail light panel of pre 65 truck,
after all, there is no lacking of space.

I sell clear lense as well as the amber ones new, so no need to go seaching around to find them. However, I do
not carry the CJ lense with the painted edge, just the clear lens unpaint like came on the dodge trucks. Photo, of both lenses at my photo site
below in jeffs mopars section.

The later flat lens used for back ups did not start being use till after mid year changes in 65.
