Replacement Windshields

Does anyone know if replacement windshields are available for the sweptline models ??? I have been saving a good one to go in my 70 for about nine years and it just fell victim to a BB gun !!!! *(&^&%^$$##$#$@!

61 to 71 is the same glass, so it is not like
it was limited year thing, I have relace the windshields
in both my 66 and 64 in the last few years with new glass.

If you want tint ask the glass shop for a w605

it's just the darker shading on the top ot the window
last year they were $257 installed

I had mine replaced about 4 months ago for $200.00 installed. Took him 2 days to get it.

:banghead Got a quote from one of the local glass shop's here in BC Canada and they told me $500.00 at the time. Needless to say I passed on that one and have been looking ever since.

my glass guy says $165 installed with black mylar, and $185 installed with chrome mylar. might pay for you to order one from us and ship it up to cananada :Thumbsup

Well, be frightened! the cheapest I've been able to find so far in Europe is around 620 USD, supply only!
I have to go get it & have it fitted after. so I've thrown the ball to the insurance company with the threat of going elsewhere if they don't honour their glass cover.
