i need a measurement

i would like for one of you guys with an automatic shifted long bed d100 to takle me a measurement of the drive shaft length from the center of each u-joint cup thats attached to the drive shaft its self. i already am pretty sure i dont have the correct front yolk, so ignore that, i just need to know how long it is from the center of one ujoint to the other. i would also like to know if it is a one piece shaft or a 2 piece shaft with a carrier bearing. in the case of a 2 piece shaft, id need a measure ment on both shafts. thanks in advance.......

Tray, my 3spd is the long tail like the 727 if thats what your thinking, I can get it tomorrow if you'ed like , just post here or send to me at home , your long haired redneck friend

From Ser. #1492000-1548000 A727 trans. @ 62.25" from end of shaft
to center of bushing ring.

After Ser. #1548000 A727 long ext. trans. [sliding yoke] shaft @ 63.25" from end of shaft to center of bushing ring.

After Ser. #1548000 A727 long ext. trans. @ 64.25" from end of shaft
to center of bushing ring.

From '63-'68 manual sec. 16 pg 16-2 & 16-3.

This is a single tube drive line as is the A745.
