Frame differences lwb to swb
I cut the frame down on my 65 D100 from the factory 122wb to 114. I took the 8 inches out about 2 inches behind the front bed mount and then going to the rear on the long straight section. I splined the frame sections together, butt welded it, plated it and boxed it with the offal. Checked work with a straight edge, inclinometer, level, all good. Set the new bed on and front and rear bed holes line up but bed is sitting an inch high at cab, is riding the axle kick up and sits flush on the rear mounting area of frame (slotted holes). The wood in the middle is riding the frame kick up and matches the angle of the kick up perfectly. other than the length is there a difference in the two frames? Sweptline box btw and cab mounts are fine.

Are you using a '61- early '65 box or a mid-'65 & later one?

Round taillights = early bed. Is your cab 4 headlights or 2?
