Hood Ornament Hole on '64 Custom

Did tge Custom Cabs in '64 come with a hood ornament or did somebody add one that's now missing?

That looks like holes for an aftermarket hood pin and trim piece.

Turns out that is exactly what it was for - a hood pin.
When I went to bolt on and align the hood, the hood brace was slightly bent affecting alignment. Took me days to straighten and complete the alignment.
I bought a cheap pushbutton hood pin to make sure it stays down.
