The original rubber floor in my 1970 1/2 ton is broken into several pieces and is unusable unfortunately.
Does anyone reproduce rubber floors for our trucks? If not, what are you guys and gals using instead?

From what I've seen, the rubber mats are not being reproduced anymore. Also, from past posts guys seem to be going with the carpets from ACC.

I cannot say anything about these... I had bought my rubber mat (which doesn't fit that great) many years ago.

I pulled the original rubber mat out of mine and found that it was holding moisture under it.
My solution after redoing the floors was to use POR 15 then rust oleum truck bed coating and floor mats. The truck is 4x4 and still gets used as one, so I figured it was better not to have a rubber mat holding moisture under it.
This way I can monitor it by only lifting a floor mat.

I bought the replacement rubber mat from auto custom carpets. It fits OK, but not perfect. Not resto quality ,but a big improvement over my shredded original. Plan on a few hours to cut and fit,actually went all the way up to the fuel tank. I also used factory sill plates i had for a better fit. Ill see if i have any pics.

There is a '67 D200 on BaT at the moment and the floor in that one came from ACC according to the seller. Seller also says it took some fitting and heat to get it go around the bends etc. And also needed trimming. Didn't look too bad.

Is there room to fit jute or sound deadener before laying down the new rubber floor?

I used new jute under my rubber floor mat. My mat was a repro job I had bought YEARS AGO.

I get in and out of my trucks with wet boots and clothes all winter long. Is there such a thing as a soud deadening under-mat that doesn't absorb water?

Yep... Dyanmat is waterproof, but I've never used that.
