sweptline full size bed end caps

I have seen the end caps, where the tail lights mount, for a sweptline body for sale. My question is how do they come off the side panels, if other than drill out spot welds. I have some dents in mine and it sure would make it easier to hammer and dolly them back into shape if removing them from the whole bed were possible without doing major damage on the rest of the bed itself.

drilling spot welds out is almost impossible, the 2 panels a joined inside using tabs on the bed and tale light. the visible seem is visible on the outside. I used that seam to cut the two apart and put the two back together, mine were to far gone to repair. not a easy job. better to try to straiten ones you have with a dolly and shrinking hammer

Thanks, Jeff. I'll look more closely for welds but not sure I want to get into cutting the bed at this point.
