Passenger Door Key lock

I have a '65 Utikine.
On the passeger side there is no connector from the key lock to the locking mechanism and nothing fallen to the bottom of the door.
Was a passenger locking door an additional option on these trucks?

65 lock doesn't have a connector rod. Link shows 61 to 66 door locks. Is your door lock similar to one's in picture. Does your truck have a door lock hole below handle.

Yes the door lock is below the handle. On the drivers side there is a open square where the pin locks and unlocks via an arm about 2.5 inches long pivoting to engages at the locking mechanism. This arm is missing on the passenger side and is not in the bottom of the door

If it’s anything like the trucks in New York there are holes in the door bottom. Maybe it was in the door, or someone was inside that door before you were and lost it.
