windshield moving in

I have a 1962 D200 that the windshield has pushed in and out of the gasket and frame at the bottom while driving. Anyone else have this problem? What is evryone using for gaskets? I used a new gasket when puttung windshield back in.

Was it a new windshield?
I sourced my windshield rubber boot from Restoration Specialties.

They're available thru every auto glass shop, as are the windshields.

Well, as it is the same cab with no, presumed, modifications that would impact the glass opening and the same windshield. The only item that has changed was the rubber boot. I'd try another from a different vendor.

The lock strip that is inserted into the channel within the weatherstrip, to lock it firmly in place.
