lucky for me the cowl area above the fender isn't rotted threw (yet)
pulling the dash out in the next few weeks
i guess the only way in is threw the cowl vents to clean out and seal the seams
is there a way to help protect that area
living in the north east ,but will never see the snow
but it will be kept outside
think i saw someone post about installing a cowl screen
thanks nutz

Re: cowl area rot
I haven't tried this but somebody went and put self leveling sealer for cracks in concrete in the cowl, it seals and fills in any pockets that could hold water.

Re: cowl area rot
I was once working on a house & the owner was having some gutters installed. The gutter guys had some sort of sealant/adhesive in a caulking tube that was the cat's meow for something like that. I don't recall the name but it was pricey & this was a decade ago.
