Anyone have any tricks to painting a 1970 d-100 aluminum grille a dark silver color? Anyone have any luck with it sticking?
I’m thinking remove the anodizing with oven cleaner, sand, then etching primer and paint.
I’d love to find a steel one, but haven’t seen one in a long time.
