What is the material used to seal the cover to the floor over the transmission? And where can I get it from?

I used 3M Strip Caulk (08578). Stays pliable and can be applied as thin or thick as you want.

You can probably get it from most auto supply stores, even Napa. You could do an internet search for 3M strip caulk or use the 3M product number (08578). Call around and I am sure someone either has it or can get it. I've had mine for awhile and do not know where I got it, although it may have been CarQuest.
