My truck is a D100.

Does anyone know if they’re compatible? Maybe identical?

Terry, I thought the molding changed in '67 on the door section with the exterior handle change.

I think you're right Chris. It seems there was likely no molding in late 65 and 66 due to the bed length/style change and the doors as you noted. So, wide molding probably started in 67.

There are no moldings on my late 65.
I thought it was just another option that wasn’t ordered on my truck.

wide molding started in 65 and is the same when ordered with all years it was used through 68.

Yes , it is the same size molding late '65-'68 , but the door section changed in '67 to accommodate the change in the outer door handle.
