Just curious if anyone has experimented with or installed any of the bear claw type door latch hardware kits?

Re: door latches
I’m in the process of installing a set now, they are a little tricky as you have to inset the bear claw and buy a shorter sticker bolt but it’s not to bad

Re: door latches replacement parts or new fab
Both the doors of my '66 D200 have the latches fucked up. The star ratchet on the passenger side is deeply grooved from wear and tear against the strike against the body. The driver side door broke when my son first drove it 2 years ago.
Does anyone know where to get replacement stars or someone who will fab 2 new for me?

Re: door latches
Bud Thorpe on this site had them, no current info though.

The Thorpe's web page is: https://www.dodgesweptlineparts.com/pre ... r-latches/
You may want to phone them. I believe Adam does a fair amount rebuilding of sweptline components.
