As my D100 will not be a "hangar queen", I added some cargo anchors to the box.
I positioned the anchors as close as possible to a stamping crease as the reinforcement flat washer would allow, for maximum resistance to box wall deforming.
The anchors are stainless steel lifting eyes I sourced from US Stainless:
https://usstainless.com/eye-nuts/stainl ... ine-grade/
I secured them to the inner box wall with 3/8 x 3/4 stainless hex head bolt, 3/8 stainless split washer, & 3/8 stainless USS flat washer.
Less than $4.00 per anchor, total.
