Started floors
It sucks to repair rusted out floors, worse yet when they've already been done....I'm assuming the new floor panel is tacked to that body mount?

Re: Started floors
I'm not sure on the answer to your question but others will surely know. It would be good to see you document your sequence of the floor repair (if it's not too late). Did you use a spot weld cutter on the floor edge seam at the edge of the step?

Re: Started floors
No, I'm not done cutting yet. I'm replacing an already patched floor which will be continued into the step area so I'll be cutting farther down. I'm getting pictures as I go.Series1Utiline wrote: ↑Sat Oct 03, 2020 5:48 amDid you use a spot weld cutter on the floor edge seam at the edge of the step?

Re: Started floors
The floor pan is independent from body mount. It bolts to it and has washers, spacers.

Re: Started floors
Little update, passenger side is done, had to add quite a bit of metal beyond the patch panel, and remember this isn't a concours truck, just a daily driver.
