Installing side trim 67 D200 custom ?

I took the trim off by prying the clips from the side holes the trim and clips came off together this is the wide trim 2-7/8
When putting the side trim back on
do i push the clips in the holes then hook the top of the trim then snap the bottom in ?
if that is wrong id appreciate any help

You install the clips in the molding 1st, in the same location as the holes in truck, insert molding in holes and gently tap in place.
