Well, it's 90% complete! Really feels good to see it at this stage.Just need to finish a few more spot welds and figure out what to do with the floor, not sure if I should go back to original or do a composite wood or real wood floor with bed strips like the Utiline. I won't be doing that until its on its new 78 frame though.

Looks great! Tough choice as to put in a wood floor or metal. My floor is rusted out and I’m not sure what route I’ll take.

If you are using a 78 frame, depending on what you doing with your cab, the shape of the frame over your differential will have you make the bed floor about 2 inches higher than it was before.

I wish that was true, if I was to do it all again I would start with a box that didn't need so much rust repair first, that was the most frustrating part of the build. I was inspired by a guy named Glen Miller(Also Canadian)on you tube that shortened a Fargo Sweptline, I recommend checking out his videos.I just took it a bit different route and a few steps further.
And thanks again everybody for all the support.

Thanks,I've read that on a few different posts, I figure I have two options, modify the frame or the box floor. My son is a welder by trade so if i modify the frame he will be doing the welding so I know it will be structurally safe.

The shape of the later frame doesn't lend well to the cab either. I put my Fargo on an 81 frame, I channeled the cab so it would sit down over the frame, then you'll need to modify the rad support, the frame widths are different at the front. From seeing your skillset, you can handle it, I just know what I had to do.
