Vinyl floor kit.
Hello All.
I am currently redoing the interior on my 62 Dodge D100 SWB. I have just installed new floor pans using "Exline" replacement floor pans. ( I believe their name "Exline" comes from "EXcellent LINE of products" the pans are great.) Now I am looking into vinyl floor covering kits. I'm interested in "Auto Custom Carpets. Vinyl Mats". Does anyone have there personal use reviews of their products? Has anyone used sound deadening mat behind it? Or is the mat itself enough to muffle? Looking for Tight and Right. Also the description is 1964 to 1967 D100. I am 90% sure the floor area is the same on my 62. Can anyone 2nd that for me before I pull the trigger.
Thanx.

Re: Vinyl floor kit.
When I put the Rubber Floor Mat in my 68, I DID use a "JUTE" underlay. I HIGHLY recommend this. I did not get my mat from Auto Custom Carpets, and the place where I did get it from no longer sells them. I cannot say how the ACC mat will fit. Mine fit pretty good, but not as perfect as a original Dodge mat.

Thanx "PwrWgnDrvr". Like I said I was pretty sure the sweptline floors are all the same. It was just there description "Years 1964 to 1967" made me doubt myself. So thanx for the backup.
Also Thanx "Jims68". Did you use adhesive between your jute and vinyl? Or would you? And I love your steering wheel.

I don't recall using any adhesive. When I put it in, it kind of "form fitted" to the floor just by pushing on it. I think that carpets have JUTE already glued on. That may be something you want to ask them when you place an order.ScrooLoose wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 5:08 pmAlso Thanx "Jims68". Did you use adhesive between your jute and vinyl? Or would you? The elaborate, this is only D/W 100/200 floors as the 300 and up are different. It seems there was a company, or companies, selling Sweptline floor mats for 300 or larger trucks advertised as fitting the 100/200s.

Re: Vinyl floor kit.
It was to be understood that "floors all the same" means in like models.
If u want to get really technical, hydro clutch floors are different than mech clutch floors, 69-71 300 floors are different than 69-71 400 and up floors, 61-68 300 floors are the same as 61-73 400 and up floors.
