Upholstery tool

Post by reallylongnickname »

This is plastic button (screw) for upholstery on a 2018 International truck. Is there a tool for removing this?
I know with some manufactures, it's just a quarter turn and out it comes.

The tool looks like a cats paw with a screwdriver handle. Or a plastic tie rod/pickle fork with a chisel end handle. Any auto parts store has them. Slide V under fastener and rock the tool back. Sometimes they pull out fine. Sometimes they strip. Sometimes they break. Chicom junk
If I didn't build it, it ain't mine.
