Has anyone painted their dash a lighter colour with a low shine finish?
Im wondering if folks have gotten away with painting the dash say, wimbledon white in satin, or even matte finish, and this prevented too much sun light from reflection off dash?

My 62 W300 has the dash painted the same white as the inside and outside of the cab. It was an AEC govt truck.

How you doing Terry? I got as far as completing cab and doors painted. I send you some pics soon.
So it sounds like you didn't find that there was too much reflection from dash.

Well, its old, dirty and not a gloss paint, so no problem at all.
Sounds like nice progress on the truck!

most of my 60s dodges have been body color dash. never had an issue with glare. the windshield is almost vertical so cab roof shades dash well. unlike later vehicles. I dont like the later black dash as it seem s to make the cab hotter in summer
