Window crank handles different lengths

Post by dsd1967 »

I was going through my parts stash today and came across my window crank handles. I have two sets and they are about 3/4 inch different in from each other. Was that a model year change item? If so, when did the changeover occur. These look to be off a 66ish model.

Might be off an A-100. I don't know if the crew cab had shorter handles but, someone will chime in. Craig

I am not sure but I think mid 65 they went to the shorter one.

Good one! .... :clap You'd think they'd make them longer for all
our aged and tired arms. :joker

Lol, the short ones make it seem like the window goes down faster. less arm action required to open window. really just spinning a smaller circle

I bought a pair of NOS window cranks and yes, the earlier version was different than the later. I will have to go back and check but my 64 came with the early versions.
