Horn Button Story

Post by kupatalks67 »

I'm sure this has happened a million times (maybe).

I was at a local junk yard and spotted a '60's van that had a horn button just like what I thought I needed to fill the gap in my wheel. No go, big fail.
Since mine is missing and I have no idea what it looks like, I'll keep looking. Anyone got a photo to share...1968 D200 with the horn ring too. If I get a chance I'll post one of what I have.

BTW, was my ashtray under dash mounted? Sure looks like it was. I'm needing a little reference on the visual here too if possible.

As Always,
Kupa

do you have a white or black steering wheel? Totally different horn buttons. 68 did have the ash tray mounted to the bottom of the dash.

PW54,

Thanks for the reply. The wheel is white....It's funny you ask that. I've been a Ford guy for years and years, but this Dodge was a really good deal and it grew on me so I bought it. Now it's learning all over again!!

Thanks,
Kupa

Not sure if a 67 and a 68 are the same, but this is what is in my 67 parts truck.
