'66 D100 Bucket seats?

I just picked up a short D100 with bucket seats--the seller tells me they are stock original.
I've never seen these before, they are black vinyl, and have the same three star logo as on the sides of the cab behind the doors. The sides and bottom of the seats have chrome frames.
Ring any bells? I'm a newbie-ish.
If so, is there a seat cover available for these?
