Paint color

Post by bentaxle »

There is a really nice D100 on EBay that is a popular color green but for the life of me I can't identify it by name, just too many greens for me to positively identify, anyone know the name of this green?? I tried to copy pic but file too large.

Yes it is, I am about ready for paint on my early 65 shortbed, just waiting on some decent weather and this looks like my color choice, just having trouble identifying it, too many choices on green. Someone here may know them well enough to identify it, just hoping they recognize it for me.

It looks lighter than Turf Green. It looks like Ditzler 43268 Green. http://www.dodgesweptline.org/minishowc ... g_c_01.jpg

Notice how dark Turf Green looks.

I agree, I know the Internet plays a lot with colors, but I see the green listed as used on motor homes closer than turf green. But ?? I sent email to the seller trying to verify but no response.

It does look good I agree. In fact it could even be a custom color where they took a standard color and lightened it further with white. This is done often.

The original color of my 70 D100 is similar to the truck posted as well. Looking at the Greens available I'm guessing Medium Green 2223 but it looks darker on the screen. http://www.dodgesweptline.org/minishowc ... g_c_01.jpg
