I have been reading old posts on using a Ford bumper on the front of my 62. I am a a bit confused on the length and fitment. I see where a 67-72 front bumper is used. This one seems to be 1 and a quarter inches longer than the original. The 73-79 rear bumper suggested for the front is 3 inches shorter. Has anyone used either of these and how does the fit look? I can purchase these for a lot less than having the original painted bumper chromed. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
