front seat cushon removal

Post by rjschaff »

What is the easiest way/best way to remove the bottom and back seat cushions for re-uph. Take the seat out as one unit? I haven't really looked under the seat yet, but i guess if i am lucky, there are perhaps 2?? bolts per side to remove the whole, thing, or? ( truck is not here at the moment) I want to use all the Sweptline knowledge on the board to save me time and trouble! thanks RJ

I think the easiest ( lightest) way is to remove the seat back first then the seat bottom. The seat bottom weight is about three times more than the seat back. This will give you more maneuverability for the heavier bottom half. Think sleeper sofa by yourself and it wont seem so bad. Two bolts per side for the seat back and two nut and bolt per side for the bottom.

So what's wrong with setting beneath a single pull string incandescent light bulb writing angry letters?
