Removing body work dust on New-ish paint

Post by DukePW »

I have some glass guys installing my front and back glass next week in my little two car garage. The Cab was painted a few years ago and is sitting on the chassis while I have been doing the body work on my Utiline box. Needless to say the finished cab has some body work dust on it and I'm sure the glass guys will be crawling all over it. What's a good simple way to get the dust off without scratching the paint. Will a dry micro fiber cloth work?? am I being to paranoid? lol
Advice is appreciated, thanks.
Scott

Blow it off with a blow gun, then you can wash it with soap and water. Then you can towel it off with an "Absorber". When dry, cover it with blankets when they are putting the glass in.

They should not be crawling on your cab anyway. They should be able to get the glass in without all that.

Good Luck! :salut
